Das auffällige Muster prädestiniert ihn natürlich besonders zur Akzentsetzung, aber auch großflächige Muster sind denkbar. Zu beachten ist, dass Chryseos auch im Außenbereich in kühleren Lagen (im Vergleich zu mediterranen Wintern) wie Wien zum Einsatz kommen kann, unbehandelt sich jedoch die Farbgebungen durch langfristigen Sonnenlichteinfall (z.B. süd- oder westseitig) verändern können. Im Regelfall kommt es zu einer leichten Nachtönung der großen, hellen Flächen sowie zu einer Intensivierung der Farbgebung der Venierung.
